Feeling like Taiwan lacks Halloween vibes? Dress up and head to the zoo for a thrilling experience. From mid-October to the end of the month, Taipei Zoo is hosting the "Zoolloween: Animals Get Spooked Too" Halloween series, creatively designed to create a fun yet eerie atmosphere where parents and kids can show off their creativity while having a blast.

Although Halloween is a Western holiday, Taipei Zoo has started building up the festive spirit ahead of time, bringing a playful Halloween vibe to Taiwan. The "Zoolloween: Animals Get Spooked Too" event is divided into three parts. Among them, the "Animal Haunted House" special exhibition has already opened, giving the first-floor corridor a terrifying and mysterious atmosphere with installations like fishing nets, roadkill wheels, and animal cages, allowing visitors to experience the real dangers faced by wildlife. Various animal skulls, preserved specimens in liquid, and dried exhibits are also displayed, hidden in display cases—where real and fake animals mingle in the spooky setting.

Additionally, starting at 1 PM on October 30th, the "Zoolloween Fun Fair" invites conservation groups to educate the public about wildlife threats, along with a life-sized Snail Monopoly game and snail racing. At 6 PM, the "Be Wild Costume Party" begins, featuring a specially built runway. Candy donations are welcome, and costume parade participants must register by October 26th, with a limit of 150 people.

On October 30th, the zoo will stay open until 9 PM. Visitors entering after 4 PM can purchase a "Starlight Ticket (NT$30)" for entry. In the evening, besides activities in the main square area, the Taiwan Native Species Area and the Cute Animal Area will also be open for families to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere together.
