Discover simple moving moments at the 2010 Simple Life Festival
Simple music and passion can also ignite small happiness, helping us rediscover the most primal emotions. That’s why the biennial Simple Life Festival has entered its third edition, gathering even more dream-driven musicians and fans. On December 4 and 12/5, they will gather at the Taipei Huashan 1914 Creative Park to compose new melodies for this land and share hopes for the future.

The “2010 Urban Simple Life Simple Life Festival,” themed “We Are Beautiful” this year, features various zones including music stages, grassland markets, and sharing libraries. With rich content available from morning till night, accompanied by endless great music, it’s hard to tear yourself away. Over the two-day event, a record number of artists have been invited. From Taiwan, these include A-Mei Chang, Tanya Chua, Sandee Chan, Sodagreen, Cheer Chen, Cheer’s real name, Fish Leong, Hebe Tien, Yoga Lin, Lala Hsu, 1976, Tizzy Bac, Marshmallow, Cubie, Hsien-Yi Xie, Dabao, Claire Kuo, Wa Wa, Peter Chen, Xiaowangfu, Huang Xiao Zhen, Luan Tan A-Xiang, Joanna Wang, Olivia, Yoyo Huang, Chen Shi-Xia, Lin Sheng Xiang, and others. International acts include Lisa Ono, John Cale, and Sammi Cheng, making this year’s Simple Life Festival even more vibrant and exciting.
The first edition of the Simple Life Festival was held in the winter of 2006, turning simple, beautiful things into two days of irreplaceable surprises and memories. To this day, many familiar faces continue to participate. The third edition of the Simple Life Festival continues to share more of Taiwan’s wonderful people and things, hoping that everyone can discover the choices still available to them through others’ dedication—and rediscover their own ability to be moved.
Tickets are available as on-site tickets (NT$1,200 each) and presale tickets (NT$1,000 per day, NT$1,800 for a two-day pass), with group purchases offering various discounts.
