The "Taitung Zhiben Hot Spring Music Festival" event will be held on December 4th in front of the Zhongyitang Square at Zhiben Hot Springs. The event will take place over four weekends in December, featuring performances by renowned musical groups that showcase a diverse range of styles, coming together to create touching and romantic memories that will last forever.

The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration (Eastern Management Office) stated that December is the peak season for the harvest of navel oranges from Sanxiantai in Chenggong Township, Taitung County. To encourage visitors to enjoy the experience of soaking in the famous “beauty hot spring” at Zhiben, the Eastern Management Office has partnered with the Chenggong Township Farmers’ Association. During the event period, guests staying at participating hot spring hotels will receive one box (containing 3 navel oranges) per room for tasting. Supplies are limited, so those wishing to try this delicacy are encouraged to book early. The "2010 Zhiben Hot Spring Music Festival" has invited top musicians and performers across various themes to take part. The lineup includes: Week 1 – "Pop Night": local performance group "Dancing Stars of the East Coast," "Super Idol Season 2" champion Fu Qiongyin, "Super Idol Season 3" champion Zhu Liqian, newcomer and standout song creator Zhang Shitang from "Super Star Avenue Season 6," and the popular pop-rock group "Ocean Orchestra," which has gone through various rock competitions and debuted in early 2010.

Week 2 – "Folk Song Night": local performance group "Dancing Stars of the East Coast," renowned "Golden Melody duo" "Southern Duo," "Golden Melody diva" Xu Jingchun, and "Folk Song Prince" Shi Xiaorong.

Week 3 – "Soulful Night": local performance group "Dancing Stars of the East Coast," "Environmental Musician" Matthew Lien, the "Precious Paiwan Female Voice" Hei Niu (Wen Xiufang), and performances by an ocarina ensemble. Featuring Taiwanese folk songs and children’s tunes, their ethereal and cleansing melodies will bring everyone familiar and delightful tunes.

Week 4 – "Original Night": local performance group "Dancing Stars of the East Coast," "Host, Singer and Songwriting Master" Wong Kwok-lun, "Famous Host" Kou Nai-xin, "Music World Rising Star" Kitashirakawa Sanmao, as well as Hu siblings – the nieces and nephews of music master Hu Defu – who will offer the warmest and most heartwarming happiness with their angelic voices.

The musical themes for the four holiday events are divided into four concepts: "Shining Stars Pop Music," "Beautiful Hot Springs and Folk Song Style," "Ethereal Music Stirring the Heartstrings," and "Warm Happiness in the Heart." Accordingly, the four weekend music evenings are named "Pop Night," "Folk Song Night," "Soulful Night," and "Original Night."
