It’s the last month of the year—where should you spend your highly anticipated New Year’s Eve to make it truly unique? Celebrate at the 89th floor of Taipei 101 for a high-altitude countdown closer to the moon than anywhere else, take in the romantic 360-degree night view, and watch the Taipei 101 fireworks launch right before your eyes, ringing in the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China with awe and excitement.
On the day of the event, performers in special costumes will join the public for a fun celebration.
The “highest in all of Taiwan” New Year’s Eve countdown event, “101 Purple at Golden Night Part Rabbit,” will be held from 9:00 PM on December 31 to 1:00 AM on January 1 at the 89th floor of Taipei 101 Tower. Tickets go on sale on December 1, with a limited run of 1,200 tickets priced at NT$2,222 each. The event will be hosted by DJ Dennis of “Night Cat DJs” and will feature a live performance by the popular dance group “Pharaohs & Dancers” from the TV show “Dance Street.” There will also be multiple bunny girls and EDM DJs to liven up the atmosphere, delivering non-stop thrilling beats, entertaining performances by the “Magic Balloon Man,” and lucky draws where 9 lucky winners will receive Japanese brand Mimo bags (worth about NT$5,000). The event will also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as party snacks to make the New Year’s Eve gala even more exciting.
This year marks the second time the public is allowed to watch the Taipei 101 fireworks up close.
Tickets for “101 Purple at Golden Night Part Rabbit” are now on sale simultaneously on the Lion Travel website, Lion Travel retail stores, PChome Online Shopping, Momo Shopping by Fubon, and Books.com.tw Ticketing (with sales starting at FamilyMart convenience stores from December 4).
