Only on display until March! Taitung’s new JiMi attraction — 8 “Wishing Kids” that are super healing

Another JiMi art installation has popped up!\  Eight “Wishing Kids” have now taken residence in front of the entrance to National Taitung Junior College of Technology, praying for the recovery of Taitung’s hometown — which was heavily damaged by Typhoon Nepartak last year — before the end of the year. The super heartwarming scene will only be on display until March 15.

These 8 adorable “Wishing Kids” are public art installations originally from the Tainan Science Park, provided by TSMC. This time, sponsored by TSMC, they have been set up at the entrance of National Taitung Junior College of Technology. The design concept of the Wishing Kids comes from JiMi’s work “If I Could Make a Wish,” using vibrant colors and the cute image of kids with hands clasped and eyes closed in prayer to create a warm atmosphere and bring positive energy to the area, making them a new Taitung attraction.
