Pancakes paired with ice cream have become a very popular afternoon tea combo in recent years. In recent years, the concept of freshly baked and made-to-order has become one of the key trends in Taiwan’s food and beverage scene. COLD STONE is launching its freshly made ice cream pancakes — the HOT STONE “Hot Stone Pancake” series — at six stores nationwide. The series offers three flavors: vanilla apple, strawberry banana, and classic chocolate, aiming to attract dessert lovers and bring in more new customers.

COLD STONE has launched the “Hot Stone Pancake” series in hopes of attracting more consumers who love sweets.
In addition to expanding its made-to-order offerings, COLD STONE has also introduced the world’s first in-house branded fruit tea, combining two of the most popular beverage elements — tea and fruit. Developed in collaboration with a well-known beverage manufacturer, the two flavors — blueberry black tea and mango oolong — are priced at NT$55. Zheng Tingting, Chief Operating Officer of COLD STONE Taiwan, said that this year the economy is recovering, consumer spending power is rising, and based on observations, baked goods or pastry items have become especially popular recently. Some are even freshly baked on-site at stores. Therefore, COLD STONE is considering building a new product line on top of its existing business foundation to attract new customers, leading to the development of the HOT STONE “Hot Stone Pancake” series.

COLD STONE has also introduced various proposals for the Lunar New Year and launched a festive series of products.
Additionally, with the Lunar New Year approaching, COLD STONE has come up with various holiday proposals. First, COLD STONE has further evolved last year’s highly popular sesame-flavored ice cream by adding premium, fine bamboo charcoal powder, creating a creatively unique “Black Gold” ice cream that appeals to both taste and sight. For toppings, they’ve used soft and chewy mini mochi, Japanese red beans, and creamy vanilla ice cream, making it an especially distinctive treat. During the latter part of the holiday season, COLD STONE will launch the “Spring Delight Gift Box” ice cream bowl set, the “Spring Sentiment Gift Box” ice cream box, the “Century Good Box” Cool Cup gift set available for pre-order at 7-ELEVEN, and the first-ever Cool Bunny plush toy — all of which are especially popular among young people and office workers, offering diverse and affordable gifting options. Besides gift boxes, COLD STONE has also launched its first “Cool Gold Card,” allowing ice cream fans to enjoy more benefits.
