The “Bunny Love Delivery – Heartwarming Flower Basket” jointly launched by Citibank’s United Way and Taipei Florist is deeply meaningful.

As this year’s centennial Valentine’s Day approaches, Citibank’s United Way and Taipei Florist have collaborated to exclusively launch 50 “Bunny Love Delivery – Heartwarming Flower Baskets,” diversifying fundraising channels and methods. The basket features three imported pink roses symbolizing “I love you,” paired with cute scarf bunnies and carrot bunnies, along with three chocolates representing sweet wishes for you (the recipient), me (the sender), and him (the social welfare organization), conveying the multiplied power of “1+1>2 (bunny; two).”

Wang Yonghe, the United Way’s public ambassador, and her husband Zhou Shouxun also purchased three sets on-site.

January is usually a slower month for donations. United Way’s public ambassador Wang Yonghe and her husband, Legislator Zhou Shouxun, said that although they lead practical lives and are not usually associated with romance, being able to help a social welfare organization with a donation while also making their spouse happy is truly worthwhile and meaningful. Starting January 21, the public can visit the event’s official website (http://www.unitedway.org.tw/2010citi/) and go to the “Bunny Love Delivery – Heartwarming Flower Basket” page to complete an online donation of NT$5,000 (or more), and receive a heartwarming flower basket. Taipei Florist will then deliver the basket to the donor’s specified location between February 10 (Thursday) and February 12 (Saturday). All proceeds will be donated in full to the United Way Association. Additionally, those who donate a single amount of NT$3,000 or more before February 28 will receive one scarf bunny, and those donating NT$5,000 or more will receive a pair of scarf bunny and carrot bunny—making gift-giving also achieve 1+1>2.
