The Everlasting Legend: A Tribute to a Superstar:: Celebrity Hall

Songs such as "When Will You Return?", "Sweet Honey Honey", "I Only Wish for Longevity", "The Moon Represents My Heart", and "The Only One I Care About" were once ubiquitous across Taiwan, tunes everyone could hum along to. These classics helped make Teresa Teng not only an iconic figure in Taiwan but also one of the most influential and legendary personalities throughout the Chinese-speaking world. Therefore, among the 14 pavilions at this floral expo, the “Celebrity Hall”—renovated from the former Children’s Amusement Center office—spotlights internationally renowned Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng. Through this proud emblem of Taiwanese culture, the pavilion promotes Taiwan’s unique character to the world.

“Celebrity Hall” is the world’s first thematic exhibition that presents the legendary life of Teresa Teng through art and interactive technology. Fluttering petals form spatial partitions, while Teresa Teng’s beloved songs echo through the venue like floral whispers. Additionally, multiple artists and floral designers were invited to reinterpret Teresa Teng’s cultural image, and interactive technological displays showcase a modern and captivating version of her legacy. The exhibition is divided into three sections: the “Floral Language Hall”, the “Glamour Hall”, and the “Star Garden”. Visitors can interact with a 200T large projection screen—the “Journey with You” touch interactive wall—by gently tapping the mirrored surface to explore four dynamic video segments depicting Teresa Teng’s journey from Taiwan to Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Japan, and eventually to international stardom, highlighting her contributions and achievements in Mandopop.

During the exhibition period, five major themed activities are planned: “Classic Catwalk”, “Celebrities Take the Stage”, “Star Morning Roll Call”, “Creative Garden Play”, and “Floral Showtime”. Each month features exciting events such as “Celebrity Talks”, “Taiwan Celebrity Voting”, “Meet the Celebrities”, “Teresa Teng Golden Hits Singing Competition”, the creative photography contest “My Encounter with Teresa Teng at the Flower Expo”, and the “Teresa Teng Starlight Concert”. With so many spectacular activities taking turns, those who love to shine shouldn’t miss this golden opportunity to dazzle the stage.
