Enjoying the sea view and sipping coffee on the North Coast is truly delightful. To revitalize tourism resources in the North Coast area, the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration, under the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, in accordance with the “Principles for Revenue from State-Owned Public-Use Real Estate,” and without affecting traffic flow and safety, has selected the coastal side along Section 34K–39K of Provincial Highway 2 at Tiao Shi Coast to establish a “Mobile Visitor Service Station.” This station consists of five mobile coffee truck operators and officially began operations on February 1st of the year 100 (2011).

Zhu Chuanwei, head of the North Coast Administration, mentioned that the lease for these coffee trucks is for one year. To provide travelers with higher-quality and more considerate services, staff will undergo training to enhance tourism consultation services and showcase the unique features of the North Coast. The North Coast Mobile Service Station completed its inauguration ceremony on January 31st of the year 100 (2011), with three mobile coffee truck operators—Hanny, Xiangning, and Odi—opening for business first, each with its own style and characteristics.

The service station also offers functions such as tourism consultation, basic food and beverage services, emergency incident reporting, free bicycle air inflation, nearby environment cleaning, and travel information.
