The W Hotel Group is known for its fashion-forward and trendsetting style. Following the opening of W Hotels in Samui, Thailand, and Austin, Texas, USA, in 2010, seven more are set to open this year. The “Taipei W Hotel” is introduced by Taizi Construction and is located from the 8th to the 31st floor of the Taipei City Hall Mass Rapid Transit Station, featuring a total of 405 rooms. These range from the standard 13 ping “Wonderful Room” to the over 100 ping ultra-luxurious “Extremely Wow Suite.” The “W Happenings” program also hosts various monthly themed events, including live music performances, gourmet feasts, festive parties, and contemporary design exhibitions.
