Developed by a Japanese team, the Sun Moon Lake Xiangshan Visitor Center is now open

To avoid disrupting the scenery of Sun Moon Lake, the building itself integrates the base space and overall structure with the surrounding soil and greenery. On the lake side, the building maintains its form, while on the inland side, it gradually transitions into a landscape resembling soil through a gentle slope. This does not create any disjointed negative effects on the landscape. This semi-architectural, semi-landscape design reveals hidden and less noticeable spaces, creating a stage for dialogue between people and nature. Although it is a building, it is truly a work of art. The visitor center exhibition areas include the "Leisurely Drift in Shuishalian - Industry Hall," "Eternal Sun and Moon - Art Gallery," "Emotions of the Lake - Nature and Humanities Hall," and a "Multimedia Audiovisual Room." Additionally, the Xiangshan Café has also been launched and officially began operations at the same time. Alongside the opening of Xiangshan, two nostalgic wooden shell boats have been newly installed in the circular pool of the Xiangshan Visitor Center, meticulously arranged as romantic flower-adorned boats, becoming a new photo spot for couples.
