World-class selection of Taiwanese attractions: Michelin Green Guide Taiwan launches on April 1

The Michelin Green Guide Taiwan was written by ten international and local English-speaking professional editors, most of whom are English-language travel writers based in Taiwan. The 338-page book is divided into three main sections: The first section, "Planning Your Trip," suggests four self-drive itineraries, including tea cultivation tours, temple pilgrimages, hot spring destinations, hiking and biking routes, and family-friendly leisure activities. The second part, "Introduction to Taiwan," provides an in-depth look at Taiwanese society, customs, culture, hospitality, and diverse cuisine. The third part, "Discovering Taiwan," covers major tourist highlights across the island—from the modern urban areas of Taipei to the stunning natural beauty of eastern Taiwan. Three-star attractions include Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, the historic city of Tainan, Tamsui, Taroko National Park, Yangmingshan, Kenting National Park, Purple Butterfly Valley, Chung Tai Chan Monastery, Fo Guang Shan in northern Kaohsiung, Taipei’s Longshan Temple, Bao’an Temple, Nanxiang Temple in Tainan, tea tasting in Muzha, the National Palace Museum, the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium in Kenting, the Lin Family Mansion in Banqiao, Beitou Hot Springs, and the Alishan Forest Railway.
