The Gold Coast is Australia’s most renowned holiday destination, spanning over 70 kilometers of coastline south of Brisbane. Thanks to its subtropical climate, it enjoys sunshine all year round.

In addition to 26 vibrant beaches, the Gold Coast is home to numerous world-class resorts, over 30 theme parks, 12 tropical rainforest national parks, and more than 50 golf courses, making it a well-rounded holiday paradise.

With its stretches of golden beaches and excellent surfing conditions, it attracts surfers from far and wide. The high-rise holiday apartments and hotels along the shore, coupled with bustling shops and shopping malls, give Surfers Paradise a modern urban holiday vibe.

The beach is always crowded with vacationers soaking up the sun, and you’ll often see surfers carrying their boards ready to catch some waves. Many tourists flock here too. At night, the crowds don’t thin out—this is a popular spot for dinner, and most shops stay open late to cater to the visitors.

The Champagne Sail Cruise is run by a Dutch couple, Klass and Elke Kooij, who are passionate about life at sea. After years of effort, they built their own sailboat — the HEIKE — and set sail from Rotterdam, Netherlands in 2004 to begin their global sailing journey. After seven months, they arrived at the Gold Coast in Australia. Drawn by the favorable climate and sailing conditions, they decided to settle here. The two-hour dusk cruise is the most popular option among tourists, as it allows you to enjoy both the evening and nighttime views of the bay. Passengers can choose their favorite spots on board, sip champagne, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the bay scenery, while the hosts share insights about the area’s famous landmarks and their own amazing global adventures.

The Q1 Observation Deck is the tallest building on the Gold Coast and also ranks as the highest in Queensland. No matter where you are in Surfers Paradise, you can spot this towering, futuristic structure. Standing 235 meters high, Q1 combines entertainment, hotel accommodations, and private residences. Construction began in 2002, using 61,000 square meters of concrete, 9,000 tons of steel, and over 9,000 glass panels — an engineering feat that’s a source of pride for Australians.

Reaching the observation deck on the 77th floor via elevator in just 42.7 seconds is one of the most thrilling experiences for visitors. With its 360° glass windows, the deck offers stunning panoramic views of the Gold Coast. From the deep blue sea and sky to the towering buildings of Surfers Paradise and the golden sands in the distance, the views are breathtaking.

Paradise Country is a fully authentic Australian farm experience, located right next to Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild. Of course, it features many beloved Australian animals. Beyond the animals, the farm offers a series of hands-on experiences, including sheep shearing shows, boomerang throwing, milking cows, riding heritage carriages, cowboy horse training, sheepdog herding, and enjoying billy tea and damper bread around a campfire. The sheep shearing show is especially popular, as Australia’s wool is world-renowned, and the farm owners introduce various sheep breeds.
