The Flintstones has been a global hit since its debut in the United States in the 1960s. It’s a TV series familiar to every Thai from childhood and has even become the inspiration for this hotel. To fulfill the childhood dreams of Thais, SuanPeung Resort in Ratchaburi has obtained the license to transform the property into a setting inspired by the Flintstones characters—letting both adults and children live out their fantasies and experience a natural life back in the Stone Age.

SuanPeung Resort currently features several modern stone age–themed cabins, modeled after characters such as Fred, Dino, and Barney. The resort complex includes over 10 buildings with a total of 21 rooms. Although it hasn’t been open for long, rooms are often fully booked on weekends, so visitors who want to stay should book well in advance. The resort also offers a variety of recreational activities such as ATV rides, making guests feel as though they’re in an amusement park.

Ratchaburi is an area that fewer Taiwanese tourists usually visit. Located less than three hours’ drive from Bangkok and close to the mountainous region, it is dotted with European-style holiday resorts. Its beautiful scenery has made it a top vacation choice for Bangkok residents. The local Don Wai floating market is also one of the famous attractions.
