Pilot and Flight Attendant Experience Camp – Operating a Million-Dollar Simulator Is No Longer a Dream!

The annual China Airlines Flight Attendant, Pilot, and Flight Experience Camp officially begins today and will run through the end of August. A total of six flight attendant experience sessions and three pilot and flight experience sessions will be held, offering young students aged 18 to 25 who aspire to join the aviation industry an in-depth look at the life of flight attendants and pilots. In addition, all participants will stay at the five-star Novotel Hotel, where they can enjoy a unique view of aircraft taking off and landing on the runways on both sides of Taoyuan Airport.

The China Airlines Flight Attendant Experience Camp accepts 24 participants per session, with course options of 2 days & 1 night and 3 days & 2 nights, priced at NT$12,500 and NT$18,000 respectively. Building on the features of the previous two editions, the camp includes lessons such as poise and etiquette, image building, and interview skills, all taught by professional flight attendants, with students role-playing as cabin crew. Additionally, last year’s 2-day & 1-night Pilot and Flight Experience Camp, which was warmly received upon its first launch, has this year responded to participant demand with a 3-day & 2-night option, priced at NT$45,000. Registrations sold out instantly once again. Each session recruits eight participants and is taught entirely by current, qualified China Airlines pilots. The curriculum ranges from ground theory and basic flying to professional skill instruction and pilot training processes and career planning. Before the program ends, participants get to personally operate a million-dollar simulator, fulfilling their dream of becoming a pilot.

In addition to the professional training courses for flight attendants and pilots, the experience camp also arranges visits to China Airlines Campus, the China Airlines Maintenance Factory, and China Pacific Catering Services. Through these relaxed tours, participants can learn about China Airlines’ history and gain insight into the intricate preparations and strict safety standards behind every flight.
