Hotel "Manufactures" Father's Day: Win a $1.2 Million Gift for Successful Conception

This year, Qixi Festival and Father's Day are just two days apart. For couples or lovers who manage to become dads during this festive season, nothing could be more worth celebrating. Domestic hotel operators have launched a creative "Manufacture" Father’s Day campaign from August 1st to 8th. During this period, simply stay at any of their hotels and successfully conceive. If you give birth between April and May of the following year, you can apply with relevant proof to receive a birthday gift worth over $1.2 million. Couples planning to have a child soon can take advantage of this opportunity by staying at one of these hotels—make the most of your time and don’t even step out of the room.

Cloudland Tourism Group stated that Taiwan has one of the lowest birth rates in the world. To boost the population and combat the declining birth rate, Cloudland is promoting an alternative childbirth promotion campaign. This allows would-be parents who love traveling and celebrating holidays to enjoy sweet couple time while also earning a substantial baby birthday gift. From August 1st to 8th this year, guests staying at any of the 11 hotels under Cloudland Tourism Group (The Grace, Silks Place, Plaza Premium, Royal Place, and the CTBC Hotel system), regardless of room type, are eligible for this offer.

Lucky babies who are successfully conceived and born between April and May of the following year can apply to receive a “Cloudland Baby Card.” With this card, they can enjoy a 50% discount on full moon banquets (for up to 10 tables, saving about NT$80,000), 100 boxes of moon cakes or oil rice (worth NT$24,000), annual birthday lodging gifts and dining vouchers for Cloudland babies (for example, if calculated until age 70: yearly stays at Silks Place hotel rooms at NT$14,300 * 70 = NT$1,001,000; birthday dining vouchers until age 70 total NT$1,000 * 70 = NT$70,000). When the child grows up, they can also receive a wedding honeymoon gift – a five-day-four-night honeymoon trip with Cloudland Tourism (e.g., a stay at Silks Place valued at NT$14,300 * 4 = NT$57,200).

In addition, each hotel has introduced extra gifts for this year’s event. Guests who check in and say the secret phrase “We love Cloudland Babies!” can receive: (at The Grace) a pre-bedtime treat of lemon oysters and handmade chocolates; (at Silks Place) an additional night’s stay, a Chinese set meal, and a free shuttle from Taichung’s Wuri High-Speed Rail Station after confirming pregnancy at 100 days; (at Hualien Plaza Premium) an SPA lecture and stress relief class; (at Zhongli CTBC) a bottle of Grand Avenue red wine.
