Explore Chengcing Lake: All-Six Theme Zones for One Ticket

Kaohsiung’s Chengcing Lake Park boasts historical landmarks and picturesque lakes, holding a special place in the hearts of Kaohsiung residents. Starting today, Chengcing Lake is launching a 44-day carnival event titled “Sparkling Chengcing Lake: The Magic of Green,” featuring six major theme zones: Dreamy Water World, themed games, swan boating, international performances, marine wonders, and family barbecues. The public is welcome to join in.

Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu stated that Chengcing Lake is a treasure of Kaohsiung, now offering a safe and fun water play space suitable for families. She hopes residents will share the beauty of Kaohsiung with friends and relatives. The “Sparkling Chengcing Lake: The Magic of Green” event creates a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly water environment, with special benefits for children from disadvantaged families — a rare opportunity and a great summer destination for family outings. Among these, Mayor Chen particularly recommends the Marine Wonders Garden, which houses a “Halfmoon Angelfish” whose yellow markings strikingly resemble the shape of Taiwan, with hints of a harbor nearby, making it quite amusing.

The “Sparkling Chengcing Lake: The Magic of Green” event runs from July 23 to September 4. In addition to classic attractions within the park such as Fort Island, Zhongxing Tower, and Chiang Kai-shek’s Former Residence, six major theme zones have been planned for an all-in-one ticket experience.
