World-renowned chefs gather in Malaysia for the 2011 Malaysia International Gourmet Festival

The 11th annual Malaysia International Gourmet Festival (Fabulous Food 1 Malaysia—Malaysia International Gourmet Festival) will be held grandly in Kuala Lumpur on October 1. During the event, world-famous chefs from around the globe will gather in Malaysia to prepare top-tier international cuisines for food lovers. Additionally, 30 of Malaysia’s top restaurants nationwide will offer special discounts to travelers, making it easy for everyone to enjoy delicious food without breaking the bank.

This year’s festival theme is “Raining Chef,” featuring renowned chefs from around the world. Travelers visiting Malaysia can look forward to first-class service and a variety of delectable dishes. Meanwhile, 30 top-tier restaurants across Malaysia have joined forces to launch exclusive dishes and promotions, allowing visitors to enjoy premium fine dining sets at five-star hotels such as Mandarin Oriental, Hilton, and Resorts World Genting.

Beyond the restaurants in major hotels, there are also many upscale eateries on Malaysia’s streets: ‘Al-Amar’ serving Lebanese cuisine, ‘Neo Tamarind’ offering a Thai culinary experience, ‘Cuisine Gourmet’ blending French cuisine with Eastern flair, and ‘Tamarind Springs’ serving Indian food, among others.
