Autumn is the perfect season for camping. How delightful it is for families to immerse themselves under the cool starry sky together. In October and November, operators are launching the “This Is How You Play in Taitung!” themed event, combining three major features: camping with hot spring soaking, healthy hiking, and refined travel experiences. The event takes participants on hikes, bird-watching, and butterfly-spotting tours, enhancing vitality and energy through outdoor adventures.

Taitung, once known as Taiwan’s hinterland, is now its backyard garden. Its rich natural environment is Taitung’s greatest charm. The itinerary includes visits to the Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Chulu Ranch, taking a journey through the prehistoric Paiwan culture, savoring authentic seafood and specialty dishes, and soaking in the warm hot springs of Zhiben and Luming. It’s a travel style perfect for the whole family.

The Taitung Big Camping Event consists of two sessions. The first session runs from October 29 (Sat) to October 31 (Mon), 2010, and the second session from November 5 (Sat) to November 7 (Mon), 2010. The tour fee per person is NT$9,350 when departing from Taipei, NT$9,050 from Taichung, NT$8,500 from Kaohsiung, and NT$8,900 from Yilan.
