Autumn travel long-stay: Seven routes for an in-depth exploration of Taiwan

After the Mid-Autumn Festival, the autumn atmosphere deepens. Have you thought about where to travel during this cozy season? Domestic hotel operators have launched different three-day-two-night itineraries at seven of their properties, allowing the public to roam various corners of Taiwan in autumn, from now until November 30, experiencing the beauty of Taiwan through long-stay travel.

Yunlan Tourism Group stated that Taiwan’s infrastructure has become increasingly convenient, and the high-speed rail has shortened travel distances between regions, leading those who used to prefer overseas travel to opt for domestic three-day-two-night in-depth tour packages. These are not only cost-effective but also allow for more frequent trips. Yunlan Tourism Group has gathered seven of its major hotels—Hansei Xinzhuang, Hansei Hualien, Zhaopin Miaoli, Zhaopin Taichung, Zhaopin Chiayi, CTBC Taoyuan, and CTBC Zhongli—and combined them with local food and fun activities to launch the “Autumn Roam – 7 Reasons for Long Stay” three-day-two-night package itinerary, aiming to spark a new wave of nationwide travel.

The three-day-two-night packages include experiences such as a couple’s rice milling activity in eastern Taiwan, a clamming and boat paddling plus kiln trip in central Taiwan, or reliving the spirited college days—all offering unique local travel experiences. Package prices range from NT$4,699 to NT$6,399.
