When cherry blossom season arrives, aside from the popular viewing spots, many hidden gems along mountain trails also conceal breathtakingly beautiful cherry blossoms. Located around the 70K mark on Provincial Highway 14 in Ren'ai Township, Nantou, there is a mountainside dyed pink by cherry blossoms, which from afar looks like a pink flower carpet, making many travelers stop to take photos.

This cherry blossom grove is located within a park called Shanshui Gardening. The park specializes in garden landscaping featuring five-needle pine potted trees, Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms, and other ornamental plants. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the entire slope is covered in a sea of pink, creating an incredibly beautiful scene. The park is situated around the 70-kilometer mark on Provincial Highway 14, also known as the Puli-Wushe Highway. Along the way, besides admiring the cherry blossoms, you’ll also pass by hidden gems such as Menggu Waterfall and Guanyin Waterfall.

In addition to cherry blossom viewing, visitors may also want to explore nearby attractions, including Guanyin Waterfall, Menggu Waterfall, the Wanda Power Plant Cherry Blossom Grove, and Wushe Reservoir, making for a delightful two-day, one-night cherry blossom trip.
