Get ready for the Taipei International Travel Fair (TaipeiITF)! Online event to give away iPad2 and cameras

The highly anticipated Taipei International Travel Fair (Taipei ITF) will be held next month from November 11 to 14. Entering its 25th year (19th edition), this year’s fair will see an unprecedented expansion, taking place across both Hall 1 and Hall 3 of the Taipei World Trade Center, with booth numbers increased to 1,500. The organizer has also launched an online Q&A event ahead of the fair, giving away premium prizes such as an iPad2 and a Canon s95 camera. The public is welcome to join in.

This year’s fair will feature Hall 3 of the Taipei World Trade Center as the “Hotel & Leisure Inn Zone” for the first time, gathering numerous discounted accommodation vouchers, meal coupons, and hot spring tickets from around Taiwan. Hall 1 will host travel agencies, airlines, and other tourism-related businesses from 60 countries worldwide. The estimated attendance for this year’s fair is expected to reach 230,000 visitors.

The “Hunt for the Next-Gen Travel King” online event kicks off today. Participants who successfully answer questions from five travel experts during the event period will be eligible for the lucky draw. Points can be accumulated daily, and those who reach 1,000 points or more before November 14 will have a chance to win an iPad2 and a Canon s95 camera, along with other prizes such as an iPod nano and storage bags. Winners will be announced on November 18.

2011 Taipei International Travel Fair (Taipei ITF) Visit Information

Dates: November 11 (Friday) – November 14 (Monday), 2011
Venue: Hall 1 and Hall 3, Taipei World Trade Center
Ticket Prices: NT$200 for full-price tickets (adults and children over 150 cm), NT$150 for discounted tickets (children between 120–150 cm, seniors aged 65 and above, people with disabilities, and one accompanying person)
Visiting Hours:
November 11 – 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
November 12–13 – 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
November 14 – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Notes:
1. Due to large crowds and safety considerations, children under 120 cm are not allowed to enter. Pets are also not permitted.
