The Tainan Hot Spring Music Festival kicks off this Saturday, with Guanziling offering new hot spring experiences

The winter series of events “Colorful, Romantic, and Joyful Siraya – My Rural Tourism” will begin on October 22, starting with the “Century-Old Premium Hot Springs – Guanziling Hot Spring Music Festival”! The event will feature special performances by Diva A-Lin, Princess of the Cold Baling Liang Wen-Yin, and all-original talent Yan Jue, among others. To promote tourism, the local area has also launched package tours, with two-day trips starting at NT$1,999 per person, and shuttle bus routes from Chiayi High-Speed Rail Station to Guanziling and Wushantou Scenic Area for independent travelers.

Following the launch of the Hot Spring Music Festival, from October 29 to November 19, there will be themed starlight concerts every Saturday at Guanziling Hot Spring Park. In conjunction with the event, package tours such as the Hot Spring Family Two-Day Trip starting at NT$1,999 per person, the TRA Cruise Train Guanziling Hot Spring Two-Day Trip for just NT$3,600 for two people, and the TRA Cruise Train Guanziling Hot Spring One-Day Trip are available. Additionally, from now until November 20, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration will operate fixed-route shuttle buses from Chiayi High-Speed Rail Station to Guanziling Scenic Area and to Wushantou Scenic Area, as well as loop shuttle bus routes from Xinying Railway Station to Wushantou, Jianshanpi Reservoir, Dongshan Old Street, 175 Coffee Highway, and Guanziling Scenic Area. The one-way fare for the fixed-route shuttle buses is NT$120 for adults, the one-day unlimited pass is NT$199 for adults, and the two-day unlimited pass starts at NT$299 for adults.

To boost the number of non-holiday visitors to the Greater Guanziling Recreational Area, those holding the event brochure can enjoy discounts on hotel stays on weekdays, such as 45% off at the Lijing Hot Spring Club’s Premium Hall, 50% off at the Tangquan Meidi Hot Spring Club, and 50% off the listed price at the Mingyuan Hot Spring Villa. Starting October 29, visitors who soak in the hot springs, stay overnight, or spend NT$1,000 or more at Guanziling Hot Spring on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) will receive one lottery ticket. Prizes include a 42-inch LCD TV, an HTC tablet, and a 12-megapixel digital camera.
