The 10th Anniversary of Travel Service Centers – Vote for Taipei’s “Top-Notch Travel Service Staff”

When traveling around, nothing is more essential than a tourist information center. Their thoughtful and comprehensive advisory services make things much easier for many travelers. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Taipei Main Station Tourist Service Center, the Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism specially held the “10th Anniversary of Travel Services · Brand-New iService” inauguration ceremony, while also launching a vote for the “Top-Notch Travel Service Staff,” stepping towards a brand-new decade ahead.

Zhao Xinpeng from the Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism stated that the Taipei Main Station Tourist Service Center is the first such center established in Taipei and also the one with the highest number of visitors. To date, its services include “itinerary planning,” “brochures and promotional materials,” “tourism information provision,” “attractions,” “transportation and accommodation,” “festival events,” “packaged tours,” “maps and brochures,” “personalized consultations,” “tourism books,” “internet access,” and “free TPE-Free application service for international visitors,” serving nearly 200,000 visitors annually.
 

Currently, there are 12 tourist service centers in Taipei City. The total number of visitors to all centers this year has surpassed 1 million. From now until November 30, the “Top-Notch Travel Service Staff” voting campaign is underway.
