The Japan Pavilion at the travel fair sets a record for the number of booths, featuring railway-themed travel as its highlight.

Railway companies from the Kansai region—including Kintetsu Railway, Keihan Electric Railway, Kansai THRU PASS/Kansai Railway, and Nankai Electric Railway (covering Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Kobe, etc.), as well as Odakyu Electric Railway, Tokyo Metro, and JR East Japan (which introduced the new "Hayabusa" Shinkansen service in March this year)—are showcasing various exhibits, railway-themed giveaways, and raffle prizes including rail passes. Taiwanese railway enthusiasts shouldn’t miss out on this event. Additionally, the main stage of the fair will feature unique Japanese performances such as the “Oiran & Ninja Show” from Nikko Edomura, the traditional “Awa Odori” dance from Shikoku, and the “Kirin Lion Dance” from Tottori Prefecture. Meanwhile, smaller stages hosted by the Japan Tourism Agency will present performances like the “Morioka Sansa Dance” from Morioka and a “Fashion Hairstyling & Makeup Showcase” by designer Inokubo Satoru.

For those who can’t wait for the travel fair’s major giveaways, the Hakone Owakudani Visitor Center, Hakone Town, and the Japan Travel Information Bureau’s Facebook page are hosting a special “Spend a Night in Hakone” raffle. Prizes include an overnight stay with two meals at Lodge Fujimiyuan, a 2-day Hakone sightseeing pass, and free entry to four major Hakone attractions.
