The ITF International Travel Exhibition kicks off this Friday, with travel packages under NT$10,000 being offered at unbeatable prices

The Taipei International Travel Exhibition opens tomorrow (the 11th), and this year there are many overseas travel options available for under NT$10,000, including destinations such as South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and mainland China. The newly added World Trade Center Hall 3 is seeing especially fierce competition, with multiple hotels offering holiday accommodation and meal vouchers without peak surcharges, including Grand Hyatt Taipei, Far Eastern Plaza Hotel Taipei, Ambassador Hotel, Regent Taipei, and Fuhang Hotel Taipei, all of which are offering weekend-applicable accommodation and meal vouchers.

World Trade Center Hall 1 focuses on both domestic and international travel packages, with deals under NT$10,000 including Southeast Travel Service’s five-day Xiamen trip for NT$6,900, EasyTravel’s Hong Kong free-and-easy package for NT$7,999, Lion Travel’s four-day Busan trip for NT$9,499 (tax included), Lion Travel’s six-day five-star Jiangnan trip for NT$9,900 (tax included), Singapore Pavilion’s AnAnAn Travel Agency’s Singapore four-day-two-night group free-and-easy trip starting from NT$9,999, and Sanfu Travel’s mainland China packages that are tax-included and all under NT$10,000, including a five-day Tulou tour in Xiamen, a six-day northern Jiangsu tour, a four-day Hainan Island trip, and a five-day Macau–Zhuhai–Shenzhen tour. In addition, airlines are also offering unbeatable prices, with Japan Airlines launching a surprise individual ticket price for the Taipei–Tokyo (Narita) route starting from just NT$6,666.

This year at the travel exhibition, it’s easy to find accommodation deals for under NT$2,000. The National Youth Commission Youth Activity Centers are offering double-occupancy accommodation vouchers, each set for NT$2,990 (three vouchers) applicable to any of their 15 locations. Hanshin International Hotel is slashing the price of its “single-room accommodation voucher” by 73%, with each voucher at NT$1,499 (original price NT$5,500). Hualien Lige Leisure Hotel, exhibiting for the first time, is offering weekday double occupancy for just NT$1,666, with an extra NT$500 on holidays. Tonmao Hotel Group is running a buy-5-get-1-free deal, with double rooms averaging just NT$1,999 per night, available at Zhiben, Kenting, Guanziling, Kaohsiung, and Tainan. National Leisure Farm is offering a double room for one night, breakfast, plus entry tickets for just NT$1,500 for two people on weekdays, with the choice of any of the 13 partner farms.
