Free tasting of Central American coffee at the World Trade Center!

The “2011 Taipei Tea, Coffee & Fine Wine Exhibition” will be held from November 25 to 28 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. This year, the Central America Trade Office has specially launched the “Central American Coffee Theme Pavilion,” where visitors can sample coffee and related products from Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama.

The unique rainforest climate and volcanic soil characteristics have made Central American coffee one of the world’s most renowned and delicious coffee-producing regions. From high-quality Arabica varieties to Panamanian coffee with a Blue Mountain-like character, each country offers its own distinctive and captivating coffee flavors and textures. Travel enthusiast Stanley fell in love with the local coffee after visiting Guatemala and developed a coffee-drinking habit.

This year, the “Central American Coffee Theme Pavilion” aims to give Taiwanese the chance to learn more about Central American coffee by offering tastings, drink samples, and sales of coffee-related products. Each day will also feature a limited-time “Central American Coffee Spin-to-Win” prize draw and expert panel discussions in the stage area.

There will also be a “Check-In & Get Free Central American Coffee Pouch” event. Simply upload a photo of the Central American coffee booth to your Facebook mobile app, along with the caption “Great Central American Coffee – Bring Some Home,” and present your check-in record at the booth to receive a free Central American earl-style coffee pouch!

Additionally, Central American coffee vendors participating in the exhibition will showcase their premium specialty coffees, offering the freshest top-grade coffee beans for Taiwanese importers and connoisseurs to sample. A “Taiwan-Central America Coffee Industry Summit Forum” is scheduled for November 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room 5 of Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, featuring representatives from relevant Taiwanese industry sectors and coffee experts from Central American producing and governmental bodies.
