The floating walkway is 50 kilometers long and shaped like a flower—explore Guizhou’s new water attraction in 10 hours

China’s ambition in tourism in recent years is evident from massive structures such as the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, showcasing its drive to break boundaries. Despite ongoing safety concerns, the latest floating walkway on water has still sparked widespread discussion.

According to Lonely Planet,the “floating walkway” is located on the Hongshui River in Guizhou Province and opened earlier this year. Surprisingly, the entire walkway stretches 50 kilometers in length, covering an area of about 54,000 square meters, and takes around 10 hours to walk the full course.So far, 60,000 visitors have come, and aside from walking, they can also try waterboarding and admire rubber ducks, among other activities, with a light show in the evening.

The walkway itself floats on the water and is made up of 200,000 floating units. From above, its shape resembles a flower. Its primary goal is naturally to boost local tourism and increase income.
