The Kirin Peak Hot Spring Club in Dakeng is a carbonic acid hot spring that emerged only after the 921 earthquake. Its texture is smooth and odorless, and it has the highest carbonic acid content in the world. Originally, it was just a place for Taichung residents to relax after work.
