A free figure skating show is coming to MGM Macau.

In this festive December filled with Christmas spirit, the luxurious MGM Grand Resort Hotel, standing by the Nam Van Lake on the Macau Peninsula, has been adorned with silver-white decorations and a towering 30-ton giant Christmas tree in the square, officially ushering visitors into the fairy-tale “MGM Macau’s Magical Christmas.” Until December 25, two spectacular free figure skating shows will be held daily at the Sky Plaza: from Monday to Friday, one at 6:00 PM and another at 8:00 PM; on Saturdays and Sundays, one at 3:00 PM and another at 8:00 PM, each lasting 20 minutes. The performances will feature Andrew Bassi, five-time consecutive Australian figure skating champion, internationally renowned singer-dancer and skating expert Richard Laidlaw, as well as other dance kings and queens who will showcase graceful and agile figure skating routines to melodious music, with opportunities for guests to take photos together.

Additionally, different weekend entertainment programs are specially prepared, such as “Christmas Carol Performances” and “Christmas Magic Clown Shows”; on December 11, famous Hong Kong celebrity Gillian Chung will perform at the venue, while host Bob (Bosco Wong) will serve as the emcee, joining in the fun and sharing MGM’s winter wishes.

Furthermore, a special Christmas charity photo zone has been set up in the square to send warm Christmas wishes to the children of the Co-enabling Special School. Donations starting from MOP 20 (no upper limit) will entitle you to a photo voucher to take pictures with Santa Claus or ballet dancers, allowing the public and visitors to contribute to charity during the holidays while creating wonderful memories.

During the event, various specialty restaurants at MGM also offer a selection of festive delicacies, including the French restaurant “The Lounge,” which serves traditional French cuisine and hosts a Christmas seafood brunch feast, featuring its renowned seafood platter as the highlight, along with multiple main courses and over ten dessert options. The Austrian patissier Günther Wolfsgruber from MGM Cafe & Bakery has also crafted a variety of exquisite Christmas treats, gingerbread, chocolates, roast turkey, glazed ham, and other festive specialties.
