The latest bullet train to launch in June this year allows you to travel from Seoul to Busan in under 2 hours!

Traveling around South Korea now lets you visit both Busan and Seoul in one trip. According toLonely Planet, the newest high-speed bullet train will connect these two major Korean cities — and it’ll be faster than flying. This service is set to begin in June this year.
Currently, the high-speed trains operating between the two cities, such as the KTX and Super Rapid Train, take between two hours and 15 minutes to nearly three hours. The new high-speed bullet train will cut that time down to within 2 hours. Traveling between the two cities using this new method can save you the hassle of transfers and security checks involved in flying, making it very convenient.
With no stops in between, the ticket price is around NT$1,400, whereas a one-way flight ticket costs about NT$3,500. If this service proves successful, Korean officials have said it could be expanded to other city pairs.
