Buy a TaipeiPass card and get a free Taipei Tourism Passport

To attract more independent travelers to experience the convenience and vibrancy of Taipei City, the Taipei City Government's Department of Information and Tourism launched today (the 16th) a new pocket-sized edition of the 《Taipei Pass Taipei Tourism Passport》。From now on, simply purchase a “Taipei Pass Taipei Tourism Passport” card with any number of days, and you’ll receive the passport for free — allowing travelers to “have everything they need in one go (and enough!)”! Explore Taipei’s convenience, warmth, and friendliness at your own pace.

Director Chao Hsin-Ping pointed out that this passport not only increases the number of participating merchants from 100 to 110, but also covers a wider range of discounts including restaurants, cafés and afternoon tea, shopping, accommodation, souvenirs, and attraction tickets, with a total value of up to NT$23,000. Among them, Taipei Lian Hotel offers a 47% discount on weekdays for stays with a voucher, and popular dining options include Din Tai Fung, MaLa Top Spicy Hotpot, Diaon Shui Lou, Xiaolongxia (Little Shrimp), and Crystal Spoon Thai Themed Restaurant. For cafés and afternoon tea, there are 4H House Cat Tea Town, PPAPER Café, and Er Tiao Tong – Green Island Serenade. Hotel options include Shuimei Hot Spring Resort, Xi Rui Hotel, Shin Yeh Hostel, Hotel 73 New Hotel, and Dandy Hotel. Attraction tickets include Miramar Entertainment Park, Beitou Cultural Artifacts Museum, and Taipei 101 Observation Deck. Shopping and souvenir options include Kuo Yuan Ye, Chashanfang Handmade Soap, Shanghai Old Tian Lu, and PHANTACi.

In addition, it’s worth mentioning that the discount booklet also includes 10 no-purchase-necessary free gifts available upon presentation of the coupon, as well as a limited-time bonus TaipeiWalker and 7-watch Centennial Edition “Collection of Century-Old Famous Stores” given out during the first month of release. Starting today, passengers who purchase a TaipeiPass card at any Taipei MRT station or the EasyCard Corporation customer service center in Taipei Main Station will receive a free Chinese version of the discount booklet.
