Drinking tea is a lifestyle attitude. The tea shop “Yongfu Family” in Kaohsiung doesn’t let 50 Lan steal the spotlight. With its stunning gradient matcha latte and sesame latte, it’s taking over Instagram feeds. The rich flavors have also made it a must-try local drink in Kaohsiung.

The matcha latte uses Shizuoka matcha powder, resulting in a rich matcha flavor with a fragrant milk aroma. Paired with super chewy white boba, it’s not bitter or overly sweet—the rich taste and chewy texture make it extremely satisfying.

The gradient appearance of Yongfu Family’s latte series is super eye-catching. Each tea-based drink, blended with milk, is richly aromatic and a top favorite in-store. Sesame lovers are also in for a treat—sesame latte includes not only sesame but also a mix of grains for added fragrance and layered taste, not just a thick and heavy texture. With generous portions of milk and boba, it can even serve as a full meal.

Yongfu Family is particular about its teas, sourcing them from various regions across Taiwan including Nantou, Alishan, and Sanxia, ensuring locals can enjoy high-quality tea from their homeland. In summer, its fruit teas bursting with real fruit bits became a huge hit. Homemade fruit puree paired with premium Taiwanese tea perfectly blends rich fruity flavors with refreshing tea notes. The owner insists on using only genuine ingredients, creating a wave in Kaohsiung’s beverage scene and making these drinks a must-try for visitors to the city.
