Far Eastern Air launches discounted fares for Kinmen and Matsu, starting as low as 50% off

Far Eastern Air announced that from February 15 to March 31, it is launching the “Kinmen & Matsu Gratitude Promotion” with special discounted fares and a Matsu frequent flyer campaign to exchange boarding passes for “Comfort Pillows”! The adult discounted fare for Taipei–Kinmen is NT$1,178, and for island residents is NT$778; for Kaohsiung–Kinmen, the adult discounted fare is NT$999, and for island residents is NT$778; for Taipei–Matsu and Kaohsiung–Matsu, the adult discounted fare is NT$1,418, and for island residents is NT$878, with the lowest discount reaching 57%; seniors aged 65 and above can purchase round-trip tickets to Matsu for just NT$878 (the same as the island resident fare) by booking through a travel agency.

Additionally, to benefit island residents traveling round-trip between Taipei–Matsu and Kaohsiung–Matsu, Far Eastern Air has also launched the “Collect Boarding Passes for Comfort Pillows” campaign. From February 15 to March 31, passengers who take four flights on any of the four routes—Taipei–Matsu, Matsu–Taipei, Kaohsiung–Matsu, or Matsu–Kaohsiung—can exchange for one of the limited 1,000 Comfort Pillows at the Far Eastern Air counter in Matsu, while supplies last.

Currently, Far Eastern Air operates three round-trip flights daily between Taipei–Kinmen, one between Kaohsiung–Kinmen, one between Taipei–Matsu, and two between Kaohsiung–Matsu. It is expected that starting March 1, more flights will be added. Tickets can be purchased at Songshan, Kaohsiung, Kinmen, and Matsu airports or through major travel agencies.
