Starting March 10, the "Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge" opening show moves to 5 PM

The Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration of the Tourism Bureau announced: In line with extended daylight hours, the "Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge" opening show, originally held at 4:30 PM on holidays, will be adjusted to 5 PM on holidays starting March 10. Please stay tuned.

Since its completion and opening to traffic on March 27, 2011, the Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge has become a new iconic attraction in Dapeng Bay. This single-tower, asymmetrical, single-plane composite cable-stayed bridge is Taiwan's first opening-style scenic bridge. Its 40-meter movable deck can be raised to a 75-degree angle in just two minutes to allow the passage of large sailboats. The bridge-opening show, held every holiday, attracts many visitors. With the filming of the movie "Zuotou" and its box office success, it has also become a popular pilgrimage site for fans.
