Hearts of the Countryside: Sharing Farming Dreams, Presented by the Council of Agriculture

More and more people are choosing to embrace rural life, learning to communicate with the land and seeking peace of mind; or, from a humanistic and ecological perspective, re-examining Taiwan’s agriculture and coexisting with nature. The Council of Agriculture is using the “Hearts of the Countryside · New Dreams” questionnaire to understand public values toward Taiwanese agriculture and thoughts on engaging in farming. From now until March 20, simply fill out the “Hearts of the Countryside · New Dreams” activity questionnaire online to receive a selection of premium agricultural gifts.

Taiwan, once an agrarian society, has long since become highly commercialized. However, according to recent surveys by the Council of Agriculture, over 70% of Taiwanese people harbor rural dreams and have once aspired to live a leisurely life in the countryside. Many young farmers have also received assistance through the Council’s agricultural learning programs and guidance, taking action to engage in farming while enriching the diversity of Taiwan’s agricultural landscape.

From now until March 20, just easily fill out the questionnaire online, speak out about your rural dreams, and you could win premium black tea from Alishan or a black bear wood carving gift set, among other prizes.
