From May 23, EVA Air adds new routes for Hello Kitty livery planes

EVA Air announced that starting May 23 this year, the Taipei Songshan–Tokyo Haneda BR192/191, BR190/189 (BR189 from May 24), and Taipei Songshan–Shanghai Hongqiao BR772/771 routes will also be operated by Hello Kitty livery planes. In the future, travelers not departing from Taoyuan International Airport will be able to see the adorable Kitty planes in Taipei every day.

Since launching three Hello Kitty livery planes last year, EVA Air has received an enthusiastic response from passengers and attracted attention from media both in Taiwan and abroad. This time, in addition to adding new routes, the airline also plans to introduce two Hello Kitty planes with different themes on May 23 and June 22. Stay tuned.

At the same time, passengers are reminded that during the new Kitty plane livery period from May 23 to June 21, the Taipei/Tokyo Narita (BR2198/2197) and Taipei/Hong Kong (BR857/858) routes will be operated by regular aircraft, and Hello Kitty planes will not be available. Therefore, the “Hello Kitty Self-Service Check-in Zone” and “Hello Kitty Livery Plane Golden Collection” activities at Taoyuan Airport will not apply to these two destinations during this period.
