Mandarin Airlines launches Taichung–Seoul route on 4/6

To serve the residents of the Greater Taichung area and meet peak summer travel demand, Mandarin Airlines announced today (4/5) that it will launch a direct flight route between Taichung’s ChingChuanKang Airport and South Korea’s Incheon Airport starting April 6 this year, operating four flights per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The inaugural outbound flight from Taichung on April 6 is AE7398, departing ChingChuanKang Airport at 07:45 and arriving at Incheon International Airport at 11:05; the return flight AE7399 departs Incheon Airport at 12:00 and returns to Taichung at 13:40. Mandarin Airlines will deploy its E190 aircraft, featuring a Sun Moon Lake livery with 104 seats, for the inaugural flight.

With Mandarin Airlines’ new direct Taichung–Seoul route, travelers from central Taiwan can now more conveniently visit South Korea. Taiwanese travel agencies have also launched various tour packages including three-night/four-day and four-night/five-day options, featuring golf, hot spring spa experiences, and movie filming locations. Additionally, through Mandarin Airlines’ seasonal charter arrangements over the years, Taichung has gradually gained recognition in South Korea.
