The 2012 Yangmingshan Butterfly Season – A Nature-Themed Eco-Tour

May marks the early summer season, and butterfly enthusiasts should not miss the upcoming "2012 Yangmingshan Butterfly Season." This two-month event features themes such as special exhibitions on butterfly ecology, photography displays, ecological interpretation, and outdoor guided tours, aiming to encourage the public to advocate for butterfly conservation and ensure the continuation of this "Butterfly Kingdom." Tianlai Hot Spring Resort in Yangmingshan has taken the lead in responding to this event by launching the "Seasonal Appreciation – Spring Blossoms" themed package, allowing visitors to gain deeper insights into the local butterfly ecology under the guidance of experts.

Taiwan is home to approximately 400 species of butterflies, with as many as 180 recorded within Yangmingshan National Park, making it an important ecological resource. Every May and June is the peak season for the migration of the blue triangle butterfly, and the sight of butterflies dancing among the flowers across the mountains is truly romantic.
