Win cash prizes by recording life’s touching moments through micro-creations

With the increasing functionality of mobile communication devices and the growing prevalence of mobile internet services, content that people once took for granted—such as movies, articles, and music—has also seen a rise in the trend of "micro-creations." Domestic telecom operators have once again launched a mobile creation competition, featuring three categories: text messages, ringtones, and microfilms. Participants are invited to express themes such as "love letters," "family letters," "life notes," and "touching moments" through brief creative works. The submission period runs from now until July 12, with total prize money of nearly NT$1.8 million. In addition, mobile creativity lectures will be held on April 24, May 1, and May 30 to give participants a pre-competition booster session.

The text message literature category features three themes: "love letters," "family letters," and "life notes." Participants must submit an original creation that fully expresses the theme within a single text message, then send the message to a designated phone number and register as a member on the event website. The first prize winner will receive NT$70,000. The original song ringtone category has no specific theme, with entries limited to 30–45 seconds in length and required to include both lyrics and musical composition. The first prize in this category is NT$200,000. The microfilm category, themed "touching moments," requires videos (including opening credits) to be between 30–300 seconds long. Works can be either live-action films or animations, and must be uploaded to YouTube, with the video URL used as the entry submission. The first prize for this category is NT$300,000.

The text message category of the mobile creation competition will be judged by Yu Guangzhong, Wang Wenhua, Chan Hung-chi, and Ping Lu. The ringtone category judges include Huang Shujun, Hou Zhijian, and Lei Guangxia, while the microfilm category will be judged by Xiao Ye, Dai Li-ren, and Lin Yu-hsien. Additionally, the first mobile creativity lecture will take place on April 24 from 15:30–17:30, with Yang Lizhou speaking at Chaoyang University of Technology. The second lecture is scheduled for May 1 from 13:00–15:00, with Lin Yu-hsien speaking at Shih Hsin University. The third lecture will be held on May 30 from 15:00–17:00 at National Dali High School, with Xiao Ye as the speaker. The event website is www.myfone.org.tw.
