MSPC×audio-technica COLLABORATION SERIES limited release!

Japanese Osaka handmade bag brand MSPC (Master-Piece) and audio-technica (Audio-Technica), a representative Japanese brand specializing in audio accessories, have collaborated to release a limited-edition product. The collaboration features the must-have ATH-SJ55 from audio-technica paired with an earphone case made from MSPC’s signature color 1000d CORDURA fabric.

audio-technica began its journey in 1962 when Matsushita Hideo, who was in charge of concert planning at the Bridgestone Museum of Art, started selling vinyl records and tapes. It initially partnered with major TV stations by providing professional-use tape products for NHK. With its high-quality, authentic products, audio-technica has been widely adopted both in Japan and abroad. Its microphones have been used in major global events such as the Olympics and the Grammy Awards. In addition, the brand continuously releases various styles and grades of headphones, constantly designing next-generation models. Guided by the philosophy of “delivering great sound and great music,” many of its products have won the GOOD DESIGN Award.

The ATH-SJ55 is designed to meet near-professional specifications, featuring a newly developed high-power φ40mm CCAW driver unit that suppresses sound distortion even at high volumes. The ear cup design inherits the superior features of audio-technica’s DJ monitor headphones. It includes a 90° left-right swivel and an overall approximately 180° rotation for versatile listening positions. Additionally, the ear cups are equipped with high-grade aluminum rings that reduce unwanted vibrations. This not only enhances sound quality but also adds a stylish touch when worn. There are two folding methods: one that lays the ear cups flat, and another that folds them compactly into the inner side of the headband, making them extremely convenient for storage or on-the-go use.
