To authentically capture the various joyful smiles and beautiful faces of Taipei citizens in their urban lives, the Expo Taipei Pavilion has specially dispatched six sweet-smiling, charming female reporters. From April 28 to May 12 on weekends, they will appear at various well-known attractions in Taipei City. Centered around four major themes — “Taipei Gastronomic Feast Taipei Delicacy,” “Taipei Cultural & Artistic Style Taipei Culture,” “Taipei Fashion Charm Taipei Fashion,” and “Taipei Youthful Energy Taipei Young” — they will interact with the public through photo opportunities on-site. Meanwhile, from April 28 to June 23, visitors to the Expo Taipei Pavilion can participate in the “You Make Me Smile” smile reporter voting campaign. By casting your vote, you’ll have a chance to win the grand prize worth NT$13,000: a “One-Night Taipei Limited-Edition Romantic Prize – Christmas Eve Dinner for Two at Taipei 101’s 86F Restaurant”!

During the smile photo collection event, the reporters will be making appearances at Shilin Night Market, Longshan Temple Underground Mall, East District Underground Mall Plaza 7 (Zhongxiao Dunhua Station), East District Underground Mall Plaza 2 (Zhongxiao Fuxing Station), Ximending Exit 6 Plaza, Ximending Red House, Taipei Main Station Underground Mall Plaza, Taipei Flower Expo Park Yuanshan Corridor Plaza, the street dance area at the southeast corner of the Taipei City Hall building, and National Taiwan Normal University Art Park. The 2,012 participants in the smile photo collection event can redeem exclusive souvenirs with their event cool cards upon visiting the Expo Taipei Pavilion. Quantities are limited and will be given out until supplies last.
