Newlyweds often buy a love lock here, inscribe their names, and lock it, then ring the nearby Lover’s Bell three times together. Legend says this ensures a lifetime of happiness together.

Generally speaking, if a couple has already registered their marriage in Taiwan and chooses to marry in a Guam church, they do not need to specially validate the marriage certificate issued by the priest at the “Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Guam.” They can simply bring it back to Taiwan as a keepsake.
