Summer Travel Expo Kicks Off on 5/25 – Pre-Sale of $10 Travel Lucky Bags Starts Online

Taiwan’s largest summer travel expo is about to ignite at the Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1. The Taipei International Tourism Expo will be held for four consecutive days from 5/25 to 28 at the Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1, featuring a total of 420 exhibitors and 850 booths—100 more booths than last year. The public can register online in advance via the official website www.tte.tw starting from the 11th, and purchase a lucky bag for just $10. Prizes include airline tickets, accommodation vouchers, meal coupons, and more, with the grand prize being a round-trip ticket to Macau (limited to 500 winners). Advance tickets go on sale now and can be purchased at 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Books.com.tw for $130 (original price $180), available until May 20.

To capture the summer travel market, exhibitors are offering discounts of over 50%. Chihpen Ranch Resort offers a weekday stay for two in a double room (excluding breakfast and including two half-price bicycle vouchers) for just $998—a 66% discount. A four-person room is available for $3,696, which includes a weekday stay, breakfast, dinner, a cycling tour, and a park guided tour. The Japanese-style inn at Hualien Sightseeing Sugar Factory offers a three-person weekday stay (including a hearty breakfast, Hualien Sugar ice cream, a bicycle ride voucher, a park guided tour, and a Japanese yukata experience) for the original price of $4,965, now available for $2,399. The Leisurely Vacation four-person room at Tai-Yi Eco-Farm includes a private wooden lakeside cabin, breakfast, admission tickets, DIY activities, and a free Sun Moon Lake boat cruise voucher—for just $2,999, averaging just $750 per person. Additionally, Shin Kong Chao Fong Farm is offering a special weekday double room package for $3,500, which includes breakfast, farm admission, an open-air hot spring voucher, round-trip transfer from Hualien Railway Station or airport, one private hot spring coupon, two drink vouchers, and a VIP electric vehicle ride.

In terms of amusement parks, E-DA Theme Park offers a four-person ticket package for $3,000; Hsinchu Doraemon Science Theme Park offers a special expo ticket price of $280 per ticket; Taoyuan Little People Kingdom offers a combo ticket with round-trip bus service from Taiwan United Bus to Taipei for a one-day trip at $599. In the north, the Yilan County Leisure Agriculture Association is offering a two-day Children’s Play Festival tour for $2,499, while Taipei Daban Gen Resort is selling premium travel tickets at the expo—valid on both weekdays and weekends—which include forest park admission, an open-air hot spring SPA voucher, and one Western-style meal at Coconut Grove, all for just $850, saving $400.
