The Wei Wu military camp grassland music concert – come together with mom to watch "Zhentou" on Mother’s Day

Food, grasslands, and concerts – celebrate a relaxing Mother’s Day and make Mom happy. This Sunday (the 13th) afternoon, the Kaohsiung City Land Administration Bureau will host a grassland concert at Wei Wu Ying. There will be performances by the Jiu Tian Folk Performing Arts Troupe from the movie "Zhentou", the peerless women’s ensemble composed of beautiful students from various university traditional music departments, as well as the Da Gou Ran Ge Troupe, who will present traditional folk songs and performances to let moms enjoy great music and shows and have a relaxing Mother’s Day.

“Folk Songs Bring Us Together, Farmers Come to Wei Wu Ying” will take place on Mother’s Day from 15:00 to 18:00 at the “Rongyuan Art Plaza” of the Wei Wu Ying Arts and Cultural Center. The event will feature the Jiu Tian Folk Performing Arts Troupe from the 2012 local film "Zhentou", the Peerless Women's Orchestra, the Da Gou Ran Ge Troupe, and the heritage group of Hengchun folk songs, the Sea Corner 168 Band. To create a military atmosphere, there will also be a design and styling team offering camouflage dance makeup and a free experience of new recruits' haircutting. The adorable girls from the military welfare store will serve up “Little Bee” drinks, while temple fair girls will take on an electrifying aerobic battle dance with the Electric Three Great Kings, getting everyone on their feet.

In previous years, the concerts were held at Nong 16 Aozidi Forest Ecological Park and Zhongdu Kiln Site, attracting over ten thousand participants. This year, in addition to musical and performance acts, carnations, cakes, and popsicles will be given out, along with a “Love Mom” photo booth activity.
