The first wave of the “Hong Kong – Asia’s World City” campaign, organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the “Hong Kong – Asia’s World City Theme Book Fair,” kicked off on May 1st on the third floor of Eslite Xinyi Store. This is followed by the second wave, the “Hong Kong Moments Extended Reality Experience,” which will be held from May 12th to May 20th at the entrance lobby on the first floor of Eslite, allowing consumers in Taiwan to feel as if they are in Hong Kong, taking photos with the city’s iconic sights using the latest technology.

In this year’s “Hong Kong – Asia’s World City” series, consumers can not only learn about Hong Kong statically at the “Hong Kong – Asia’s World City Theme Book Fair,” but also dynamically explore the city through the “Hong Kong Moments Extended Reality Experience.” Using motion-sensing and extended reality technology, simply stand in front of the large screen and wave your hand to instantly experience hugging superstar Andy Lau at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, challenging martial arts legend Bruce Lee on the Avenue of Stars, taking photos with Woody and Jessie at Hong Kong Disneyland, or immersing yourself in the local charm of the “Old Hong Kong Street” at Ocean Park, experiencing the diverse facets of Hong Kong as Asia’s World City.

Consumers can not only download their Hong Kong experience photos to their mobile phones via QR code, but also upload them to the “Hong Kong Together” Facebook event page to share with family and friends, exploring Hong Kong online together.
