Jingpin Taiwan Tea Farm has its own tea factory, producing and selling its own tea, which shows the brand’s commitment. Unlike other beverage shops, they don’t focus on flashy appearances but rather on the authentic taste of the original tea leaves. They believe that only good tea can create great specialty drinks—that’s their philosophy.

Bu Zhi Chun (Unknown Spring)
The most unique drink in the shop, also known as “Four Seasons Spring,” is entirely sourced from Taiwan’s Nantou tea region. The variety is 100% Four Seasons Spring tea—a rare find. It combines the mellow flavor of oolong tea with the fresh aroma of green tea. The name comes from its harvest season, which falls between winter and spring, making it unclear whether it’s winter or spring tea. This lightly fermented tea offers an elegant floral aroma with a refreshing and natural sweet aftertaste. Each sip delivers a smooth and sweet tea experience. There’s also a variation called “Light Lemon Bu Zhi Chun,” made with a hint of lemon, which is also very popular with customers!

Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe)
Among the charcoal-roasted oolong teas at Taiwanese bubble tea shops, many often fall short due to quick production methods, lacking the true essence of tea and instead having a smoky taste. The shop’s Da Hong Pao follows traditional tea-making techniques. Just the roasting process alone takes over 12 hours. It boasts a refined orchid fragrance, a rich and mellow taste, and leaves a sweet, refreshing aftertaste. There’s also a variation called “Buzzing Honey Red Robe,” made with specially selected honey, or it can be brewed as a milk series—both are great choices.

Jingpin Black Tea
The shop’s black tea is made from “summer tea.” Many people think summer tea is the lowest quality, but actually, the best black tea comes from leaves harvested between Qingming (Tomb-Sweeping Day) and Dashu (Great Heat). Using the high catechin content of summer tea, the shop turns it into high-quality black tea by turning what seems like a disadvantage into a strength. Additionally, the elaborate tea-making process allows the black tea to ferment and mature slowly—like fine wine, it’s worth savoring. There’s also an option to add vanilla-flavored ice cream to make “Snowball Black Tea” or create Taiwan’s world-famous “Bubble Milk Tea.”

In addition, the shop will soon launch new drinks: the Sesame Series and the Matcha Series:

The sesame used avoids the easily perishable black sesame and is instead sourced from local Taiwanese farmers. After special processing to remove sand and impurities and thorough cleaning, it’s traditionally roasted over low heat. This method preserves the most nutritious parts of the plant oil. Thanks to this process, it’s rich in calcium and dietary fiber, helping strengthen blood vessels, protect the heart, and prevent aging—perfect for today’s health-conscious drinkers!

To cater to the current matcha craze, the shop has launched a matcha series. The matcha is made from carefully selected fresh tea leaves from Taiwanese tea regions, using Japan’s steaming method and low-temperature grinding for extremely fine particles. This enhances the unique aroma of matcha while preserving the tea’s natural nutrients. The taste is smooth, fragrant, and mellow, with a warm, sweet aftertaste. The “Matcha Fresh Milk” version is absolutely divine!

In addition, there’s a “hidden” drink: a customized version made with “honey + Hangzhou chrysanthemum tea cake + fresh milk + tapioca pearls.” This isn’t something you can order directly from the menu—it’s a custom mix of various ingredients. The Hangzhou chrysanthemum tea cake, as the name suggests, is made from high-quality Chinese “Pu’er tea” combined with the local agricultural specialty “Hangzhou chrysanthemum” from Tongluo in Miaoli, Taiwan. Pu’er tea, a large-leaf variety and a post-fermented tea, has a naturally rich and thick tea soup. Over time, the bitterness and astringency in the tea leaves oxidize and gradually fade—even disappearing completely—but the sweetness remains, releasing slowly during brewing, giving it a naturally “sweet” taste.
The reason Hangzhou chrysanthemum is added to this drink is to enhance the flavor. Also, since some people aren’t used to the unique aroma of Pu’er tea (what some call the “stinky sole” smell), the shop specially purchased certified Hangzhou chrysanthemum from the Tongluo Farmers’ Association. Combined with carefully selected farm-fresh milk, sweetened with honey, and topped with chewy tapioca pearls, it’s incredibly satisfying!
