Hello Kitty livery plane unveils new cloud-themed aircraft flying on Taiwan-Japan routes

EVA Air’s fifth Hello Kitty livery plane, the “Cloud Plane,” has officially taken flight and will be operating on the Taipei–Tokyo route. The Hello Kitty characters painted on the fuselage, including her family and friends, appear to be riding a giant somersault cloud from mythology, freely soaring through the clouds.

Since last year, EVA Air has successively launched five Hello Kitty livery planes—the Magic Plane, Apple Plane, Global Plane, Happy Plane, and the newly introduced Cloud Plane—flying on various routes to Hokkaido and Fukuoka in Japan, Tokyo Narita and Haneda, Hong Kong, Incheon in South Korea, Guam, and Shanghai (Hongqiao), among others. Coupled with the Hello Kitty passports given before boarding, Hello Kitty pillowcases on the plane, and Hello Kitty in-flight meals that also come with exclusive ice cream, the service has been widely loved by passengers. EVA Air continues to introduce new styles of Kitty-branded service items and Hello Kitty duty-free products onboard, making flying an enjoyable experience.
