7/1 Maple Plus Festival – Anvil Rock Band Performs at Huashan

Want to experience the vibrant energy of Canada Day without traveling far? From June 30 to July 1, visit Huashan 1914 Creative Park to take part in the first free-entry “2012 Célérabtion Canada Maple Plus Festival.” You can enjoy authentic Canadian cuisine and beverages, experience the fun of hockey, and more. In addition, on the evening of July 1, the renowned heavy metal rock band “Anvil” will perform at Legacy, celebrating Canada Day with the public.

Organized by the Taiwan-Canada Business Council, Lion Group, and Alleycat’s, the 2012 Célérabtion Canada “Maple Plus Festival” aims to fully showcase Indigenous Canadian culture and the richness of nature. Huashan 1914 Creative Park is divided into three main zones: the Stage Performance Area, the Maple Avenue Tasting Zone, and the Heavy Metal Rock Zone. During the event, the stage area will feature a parade of bands, traditional bagpipe performances, quizzes with prizes, and energetic rock band performances.

On Maple Avenue, designed with a Canadian theme, there will be Canadian tourism information booths as well as various themed stalls selling Canadian products. Visitors can indulge in authentic Canadian food and drinks, shop for Canadian brand clothing, admire folk art, and take part in experiences such as hockey games, temporary tattoo painting, and getting a free heat-resistant fan for checking in on Facebook. Additionally, on July 1, Canada Day, the famous heavy metal rock band “Anvil” will take the stage at 8:00 PM at the Legacy music venue to celebrate the national day with rock music. Tickets are priced at NT$1,200.
