Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Taroko Line – NT$250 to Wander Through Canyon Wonders

Now you can take in the internationally acclaimed Taroko Gorge and its stunning landscapes, as well as relax by the blue waters of Qixingtan Beach, all with a more convenient and affordable option. The new “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Taroko Line” not only continues the existing route from Hualien Railway Station to Tianxiang, but also adds a stop at Qixingtan. Throughout the promotion period, visitors can buy the “Taroko Freestyle – Ultimate Value Pass,” with a one-day pass priced at NT$250 (approximately a 30% discount) and a two-day pass at NT$400 (almost a 50% discount), giving them unlimited access to all attractions along the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Taroko Line. Passengers may also pay in cash when boarding, but will not be eligible for the discount.

For a one-day itinerary, it is recommended to start from Hualien Railway Station and take the shuttle to the Taroko National Park Visitor Center, then walk to Shakadang. Continue by shuttle to Buluowan and walk to Swallow Grotto, then take the shuttle to Tianxiang for lunch. After lunch, it is suggested to take the shuttle from Lushui to Changchun Shrine, then walk to the Taroko Archway before taking the shuttle to Qixingtan, and finally return to Hualien Railway Station by shuttle. Tickets for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Taroko Line package can be purchased at the Travel Service Center next to Hualien Railway Station or at the bus terminal at Hualien Railway Station.
